JOURNALISM

I have worked in the newspaper and magazine industries as a reporter and editor for more than twelve years. My career began as a copyboy at the New York Daily News. Since that time, I have been a beat reporter and editor for a small newspaper in Queens, and an editor of a trade magazine covering digital photography, and served as a senior news editor and writer for a major news website.

I have covered topics such as local and national politics, crime, business and celebrity news.

In addition to writing, I have worked as a photographer, snapping photos of news events and personalities. I have also worked side-by-side with sales people to develop advertising content, special projects and presentations.

I have also helped spearhead a redesign of a newspaper, a magazine, and several websites.

WEB DESIGN

I have developed several sites using ASP and CSS, utilizing MySQL and MS SQL. You can see examples of my work here.

FILM & VIDEO

I have a background in film and video work, both in editing documentaries and short films, as well as developing my own projects. You can see several of my short films at Maynard Films.
